- 00:03As creative leaders in medicine and science,
- 00:06we constantly push boundaries to advance
- 00:08medicine for the benefit of humanity.
- 00:10In the fight against cancer, we
- 00:12are at the forefront of providing the best
- 00:15approaches for prevention, detection,
- 00:16diagnosis, and treatment. The answers
- 00:18are going to come from teamwork,
- 00:20and so you have to be humble enough
- 00:23to know you don't have all the
- 00:26answers yourself and that you need
- 00:28to reach out to people to be the
- 00:31other half of your brain and. This
- 00:34is a place where that happens
- 00:36very organically. There is amazing
- 00:39scientific expertise here.
- 00:42People who were in the labs.
- 00:45And coming up with just
- 00:48earth shattering results.
- 00:50That we hope will eventually transform
- 00:53the way we take care of patients.
- 00:55And the truth is, there are many,
- 00:58many different ways somebody can choose
- 01:01to help the young Cancer Center.
- 01:03Somebody could come in and say,
- 01:06I want you to create the very best program.
- 01:12In. Inflammatory breast cancer,
- 01:14A very uncommon type of breast cancer.
- 01:17The very best program that
- 01:19exists anywhere in the world,
- 01:21and we could make that happen.
- 01:23This is a place that has.
- 01:26Incredible potential.
- 01:27And when it comes to cancer,
- 01:29what that potential means is we're going
- 01:31to save more lives and we're
- 01:32going to prevent suffering and
- 01:34eventually there's going to be a
- 01:36day when we prevent all cancer.
