- 00:09So, do you know the expectations
- 00:11of your ladder track?
- 00:13And I would suggest that you look for this
- 00:16information at the Yale oh APD website.
- 00:18You can see faculty tracks,
- 00:20ranks and positions under the academic
- 00:22Affairs tabs and the faculty on the Left.
- 00:24Here they also you can look at
- 00:27individual tracks here to see if your
- 00:29requirements for what you're doing
- 00:31fit align with what is listed in the
- 00:34different ranks here on the left.
- 00:36But there are documents that there's
- 00:38a faculty track of metrics document.
- 00:41Here and and and the latter faculty
- 00:44track metrics here on the right.
- 00:46Then you can download a copy of
- 00:49the of what those metrics are
- 00:52and if you look at them,
- 00:54those metrics will show you the
- 00:56clinical CE the clinician scientist,
- 00:59the investigator,
- 01:00and the traditional track and
- 01:02the different responsibilities.
- 01:03Research activities, effort allocation.
- 01:05This is important to pay attention to.
- 01:09And also sources of funding
- 01:11types of scholarship type and
- 01:13at the time of promotion.
- 01:14What kind of reputation have you should
- 01:17have and also at the very bottom this
- 01:20applies to all ranks and all tracks
- 01:22are that all faculty are expected to
- 01:25uphold the university faculty stands
- 01:27to conduct and the mission values of
- 01:29the medical school and that you should
- 01:32be contributing to the diversity,
- 01:33success and well being of
- 01:35the academic community.
- 01:36So this is really important because we do.
- 01:39Expect this of our faculty.
- 01:41It's written
- 01:42into the offer letters.
- 01:44Now that professionalism is
- 01:45is something that's very
- 01:47important to our institution.
