Gaia Mohr-Tonachini, MMSc, PA-C

I completed my undergraduate studies with honors at the University of California, Davis, earning a degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. After college, I became actively involved in clinical research, assisting in the recruitment and execution of clinical trials at the UC Davis Medical Center. Simultaneously, I was worked full-time as an Emergency Medical Technician in Sacramento, providing pre-hospital trauma and emergency care to a diverse range of patients in the community.

I went on to pursue my Master of Medical Sciences at Yale School of Medicine's Physician Associate program, where I discovered my passion for surgical services, procedures, and imaging techniques. This passion led me to my current role specializing in neurosurgery spine with Yale Medicine. In this position, I focus on delivering comprehensive and patient-centered care to individuals with degenerative, traumatic, and oncologic spinal conditions, both in the ambulatory and operating room settings.
