Biography

I am currently enrolled in internal medicine training at the Yale-Waterbury residency program. Prior to this, I pursued a dedicated research fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Stavros Stavrakis at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center’s Heart Rhythm Institute. My research mainly focused on autonomic modulation as a therapeutic approach for atrial fibrillation and heart failure in animal and clinical settings. This research experience solidified my passion for cardiology, particularly the interplay between electrophysiology and neurocardiology. I am driven to explore the heart-brain axis as a therapeutic frontier, aiming to bridge mechanistic insights from animal studies with innovative clinical applications.
