Biography
Dr. Kazuaki Kameda received his MD from Kyoto University in Japan in 2009. He completed 2-year residency followed by 3-years fellowship in internal medicine and infectious diseases. Then, he entered a hematology fellowship program at Jichi Medical University and become a board-certified member of the Japanese Society of Hematology in 2016. He obtained PhD in 2022 for the study of the tumor microenvironment of natural killer cell leukemia. To learn basic immunology and hematology, he joined the lab of Dr. Andres Hidalgo at Yale in 2022 as a postdoctoral fellow.
