Megan Byrd, BS

Megan joined the Spudich lab in 2024 after graduating with a B.S in Biology (BCMB - Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology) and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She has previous research in Raman Spectroscopy in the Sharma lab at UTK where she learned research lab analysis and techniques. Her current focus is on lab processing for blood and CSF samples utilizing various lab techniques and instruments. In addition, she participates in running PET scan visits and assists with data analysis and data reporting.
