Biography
Dr. Kibe is a board-certified fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon at the Yale Eye Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine internship as well as her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Kibe completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the Yale Eye Center. Following her fellowship training, she joined the Yale University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Kibe specializes in the medical and surgical care of vitreoretinal diseases. She cares for patients with diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular holes, retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, retinal vein occlusions, retinal artery occlusions, ocular trauma, and other vitreo-retinal disorders. Her research interests include diabetic retinopathy, disparities in vision health and eye care, and global ophthalmology.
